• Account Information: Email address and password (hashed) when you register.
• Location Data: GPS coordinates while using the app to calculate distances on the golf course. Location data is used in real-time and is not stored on our servers.
• Shot Data: Shot distances, club selections, and scores you choose to track.
• Course Data: Hole layouts and course information you save (premium feature).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide GPS-based distance calculations and club recommendations.
• To generate AI-powered caddie advice using shot context and course imagery.
• To save your shot statistics and course data for your personal use.
• To authenticate your account and manage your subscription.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini AI: When you use the AI Caddie feature, your shot context (distance, club, wind conditions) and an anonymized satellite map view are sent to Google's API. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests. Google's privacy policy applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat receives your device's anonymous identifier and purchase transaction data to verify and manage your subscription status. • Apple In-App Purchases: Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple's payment infrastructure. Apple handles all payment information; we never receive or store your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data and shot statistics are stored securely in our database. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all your data from our servers.

6. Children's Privacy

Golf Caddy AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
